Our journey together
No matter what type of ceremony I perform my commitment to listening to your needs is the same. It is so important to me that you feel heard, that your hopes and desires have been considered and that this ceremony is bespoke and unique to you and not just a generic scripted ceremony.

The first step is the initial phone call or email where you tell me when you were hoping to have your ceremony. If I am available, and you are happy to proceed we will arrange a mutually convenient time to meet in person or alternatively we could have a Zoom call.

In our second and subsequent meetings I will be asking you to tell me all about yourselves and your hopes for your ceremony. Don’t be surprised if I’m taking lots of notes! We will create the ceremony through meetings, emails, phone calls and messaging; it’s very much a journey which we take together in the months leading up to your ceremony.

In the case of the Wedding Ceremony and Vow Renewal, we can choose vows that perfectly encompass your love or I can help you with the wording of your own vows. I can make suggestions on readings, quotes, passages etc that resonate with you. Trust me I have a vast collection! We will then craft your Love Story together. This beautiful part of the ceremony is when I narrate your lives together as a couple; how you met, the ups and downs of life, the proposal…it is always such a meaningful part of the ceremony.
As part of our planning together I can suggest some beautiful ceremony enhancements available such as hand fasting, sand ceremony, tree planting, broom jumping, wine box ceremony etc. I am also excited to introduce a Cacao Ceremony as part of my celebrant role.
